August/September: Museums and Dog Cafes

So, I've just realized that I haven't updated you guys since I got back from Hong Kong so I thought I'd post some pics here. Let's see. Basically, it's going to be a jumbled mess of pics from my last month or so. Here we go:

Here is one of my fave "Kongrish" t-shirts

Gangnam Station

A market in my area and my helper teacher's daughters

More weird Kongrish shirts

This is Korea's answer to sushi; it's called kimbap.

One of my student's parents gave me this super cute cake!

English is hard, guys

My street, in all its blurry glory

Fiona drinking Maddie's drink in the background

The cultural center which housed an exhibit on Dior

J Law's infamous Oscar dress

Palace in the middle of the street

Also go to go to SMTown which is like a Kpop museum.

Me and my friends.

I got to see a holographic musical which is a musical meets IMAX.

DOG CAFE. You buy an (expensive) coffee and then play with 10-15 dogs for hours. I also went to a cat cafe but got no pics because all of the cats literally hated me.

This is the place where the latest Avengers movie was shot! Went to a fun meet up here.

My favorite churro place/cafe/boardgame bar/restaurant in Bucheon

Separate cafe. Looks like I'll be trying every cafe in my town before the spring.

Latin Festival feat. a man who was having the time of his life.

View from the National Museum of Korea

Churro place again with friends

From the Avengers place on the Han River.

My coworker's daughters and I again. They were educating me on Korean television.

SMTown cafe

Hope that made sense because it feels like I just dumped a bunch of photos together, haha. But, this month has been very fun and I've been to tons of museums and eaten at lots of cool places. Missing you guys lots though <3 Let me know if you ever want to skype, I am free most mornings before work.
