Bangkok II

Alright, so after that horrific experience, I had my last night in Bangkok and I have to say, it couldn't have come at a better time. After witnessing animal abuse first hand, I was ready to get the hell out of there, but I was also determined to have a good time. So, we went and had a thai massage and a foot scrub.

The thai massage was like being peacefully manhandled by a gentle but firm older gentleman. I didn't know that like massaging eyes and scalps were even a thing, and it felt strange but I have to say, for the equivalent of $3, I felt absolutely fantastic afterwards.

THEN, Jadelle and I went and actually did one of those "fish eat the dead skin on your feet" things. Watch this shit:

So then we had a giant dinner that I couldn't even finish for less than $1.

Then before I flew out, I was determined to see something in Bangkok I actually wanted to see and that was the Grand Palace. Now, even though I had to get up early, dress in pants even though it was 86 degrees, and had to fight off more Chinese tourists than I care to admit, it was completely worth it. It was easily the best part of my entire stay.

The other stuff were just various temples up till this point. This giant white building is the actual palace.

Something you wouldn't see in America. Sawasdee (hello), Ronald :)

And I got a Thai milk tea. So, the trip ended on a high note. Next, on to Bali.
