Hong Kong Part I
So, even though I have only been here a short time, I've already gotten my first vacation from work! Granted, I went to a different country so it didn't really feel like much of a vacation but who's complaining. For those who don't know, I got a week off of school for "summer break" so 2 of my coworkers and I went to Hong Kong!
The flight itself was super cheap ($200 roundtrip! Thanks Air India) and the hostel we stayed at was about $20 a night so we kept it on the cheap side of things. I'm gonna post a lot of pictures here so bear with me.
Here's some pics of me at the airport
Shout out to Air India for real. They were the best.
Their airport right off the bat was amazing. (Look at those mountains in the background!)

CLEVELAND STREET??? REALLY?? I come to Hong Kong to see the name of the airpit of the world?
Believe it or not, this was a mall.
After a breakfast of what was supposed to be french toast and iced coffee but in all actuality was a think piece of angel food cake and some iced hot chocolate, we started our first day out with a trip to the gardens and a Buddhist monistary.
Pretty sure that Avril Lavigne was here.

This was the view from the subway we would take.
That night, we took the cable car up to the top of Victoria Peak to get a 180 view of the Hong Kong skyline. The degree of the cable car and the literal 10 escalators I had to take in order to get here had me skeptical, but this view was more than worth it. And I only had to fight off a moderate amount of Asian couples to get a good shot.

I could've stayed at that peak all day. We were literally the last people up there and we almost missed the hour long subway home, oops.
